OEM/ODM vs private-label vs distributor—pick the role clearly

OEM/ODM (this page)

Brand owners and industrial OEMs that need confidential drawing-based development or manufacture-to-print supply. XRZ engineers or manufactures under your specification; branding and IP follow the OEM/ODM agreement.

Private-label

Your brand on XRZ-manufactured tools with agreed labels, packaging and part numbers. Start on private-label cutting tools when packaging/brand launch is the primary need.

What to send for an OEM/ODM RFQ

  • Approved drawing or current tool + target performance notes
  • Material / application (Al–Si band when aluminum), hole or feature callouts
  • Branding, part-number and packaging rules (if any)
  • NDA preference before sharing sensitive prints
  • Sample expectation and acceptance idea (or ask XRZ to propose a plan)

Path: engineering review → optional sample validation → freeze revision → repeat supply. Submit via custom cutting tool RFQ. Core tools: PCD reamer · solid carbide drill.
