Critical set vs clearance set
- Ream locating pins, bearing-related openings, and print-critical diameters.
- Drill-only most clearance / mounting holes when the band allows.
- Label the critical set on the hole chart—do not assume every hole needs a reamer.

Usually no—ream the critical set only.
