PCD bell/profile form cutter series; RFQ from finished form drawing.

PCD bell profile milling cutter—finished form drawing is the tool
This series covers bell and other custom profile forms in aluminum / non-ferrous where the cutter must match a finished section—not a square, ball, or face-mill substitute.
Shop scenario: a bell mouth, blend radius stack, or proprietary profile that CAM cannot fake with a standard end mill. Attach the finished form. Scroll series is for progressive paths; ball-nose is spherical contact; this page is discrete form matching.
Form-matching intent
- Bell mouths or custom profile sections in aluminum / non-ferrous
- Finished form drawing or section available
- PCD justified for life on abrasive alloys or volume
- Standard square/ball tools leave the wrong residual form
Use standard geometries when…
- Simple shoulders → square end mill
- Spherical contours → ball nose
- Progressive scroll paths → scroll end mill
- Flat decks → face-mill series
Full series directory and hub-level RFQ inputs stay on the PCD milling cutters hub—not repeated here.
Form-drawing RFQ list
- Finished form / section drawing with critical radii
- Material grade and volume
- Tolerance on the profile and any blend notes
- Machine and holder constraints
- Current form error (wrong radius, steps, burnishing)
Profile cutter FAQ
Can you copy a competitor bell cutter from a photo?
Photos help; the finished form drawing remains mandatory.
Bell vs scroll naming?
Bell/profile = discrete form match; scroll = progressive path features.
Stock bell SKUs?
No public SKU grid—custom from your form.
Finished form attached?
Profile quotes start from the form section. Names like “bell” without dimensions are not enough.
