Micro and special work fails when the tool is “almost right”: runout, edge prep, and reach dominate. XRZ supports small-diameter holemaking and high-gloss / fine finishing on suitable non-ferrous materials with carbide and PCD geometries quoted from your feature sizes—not a catalog of disposable 3C bits or woodworking PCD blades. PRECISION MEANING

What “precision” means here

At micro and fine-feature scale, size and form still matter—but so do edge integrity and measured runout. The tool itself may be close to the feature diameter, so brochure SFM without spindle and holder context is not a plan. We quote from the feature, not from a vanity minimum diameter claim.

Thin Walls and Special Geometries — Quote from the Interference Model

  • Thin walls punish radial force, vibration, and deflection—geometry and toolpath must be reviewed together.
  • Special edges, necks, and steps need a cross-section or 3D interference model—not a catalog name.
  • We do not claim an off-the-shelf “woodpecker” or similar specialty brand SKU. Send the feature; we quote a custom edge.

No separate thin-wall slug unless a stable series landing page exists later. Extrusion taps and CBN gloss specialty pages are intentionally not opened here.

No—XRZ focuses on industrial cutting tools. If your real need is a precision hole or mill feature, send that print for RFQ.

How small can you go?
